Privacy policy
LocalLoop exists because we think local shops and their customers get a raw deal on data. This policy is written to be read.
What we collect
- Customers: your email, name, delivery addresses you choose to save, and your order history — the minimum needed to take an order, deliver it, and run the shop's loyalty scheme.
- Shops: your account email, shop details, menu and order records.
- Payments are processed by Stripe; card details never touch our servers.
What we do with it
- Customer data belongs to the relationship between you and the shop you order from. The shop can see and export its own customer list; other shops cannot.
- We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or use it to build profiles across shops.
- Transactional email (order confirmations, sign-in links) is sent through our email provider solely to deliver that message.
Cookies
One session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Retention & your rights
Order records are kept for as long as the shop needs them for accounting. You can ask for your account and personal data to be deleted at any time — email us and we will action it within 30 days, subject to legal record-keeping requirements.
